One, having recently undergone the dissolution of a long previous relationship, guarded closely by her village, curated a Tinder profile and waited for a bite. 

The other, having recently undergone the startling ethical revelation that her dating pool could only justifiably include individuals who were alive to witness 9/11, was in the geographic vicinity.

Interests piqued by what they saw in each other, the two arranged to meet. Under the hazy lights and over the loud classic rock blaring from the speakers at Slick Willie's Pool Hall, our heroes sparred with stick and ball on smoky green felt, each too competitive to let the other win, no matter how cute.

Games concluded and phone numbers exchanged, the two struck up a conversation that has yet to reach an end. 

Days after their first date, one of them proposed a relationship. The other agreed - pending a three week probationary period concluding with approval from her village.

This, clearly, went pretty well.

From then on their worlds continued to merge - seeds took root, flowers bloomed, cats became begrudging roommates - until they realized they had created one all of their own, together.
